Prayer

We encourage everyone to take time each day to pray for our church, it's members, visitors and our pastor.

Our Community Prayer list is revised weekly and available on the Sunday Bulletin.  If you would like copies emailed to you, contact the pastor about adding your name to the Weekly Updates contact list.

If you would like to participate in Nurturing ministries through prayer, writing thank you notes or greeting cards, please contact the Pastor at 361.972.3013.

Music

Except June-August, the choir rehearses every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary.  All joyful voices are welcome!

Bell Choir, the Seaside Ringers, are featured for holidays and special occasions.  Ringing is fun and requires little musical knowledge.  Watch the bulletin and newsletter for more info.

Our music director provides a wide variety of congregational song selections  to add to our weekly worship experience.

FUMC Choir practice will resume when it can be done safely for both the participants and the congregation.

Youth and Young Adults

Youth and Young Adults meet twice a month at 5:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.  The group meets to share a meal, a devotional and fellowship.

Childcare is provided.

Women

United Methodist Women meet the third Wednesday of each month (except June and July) at 10 a.m. in Weimar Hall.  This group participates in local and regional ministry outreach projects and has a annual chicken spagetti luncheon you won't want to miss!

Women’s Upper Room Study meets every Thursday at 10:00 in Weimar Hall.  This group uses the Upper Room devotional as their study guide.  Pick up your free copy in large or small print in the church foyer.

Each Tuesday evening at 6 p.m., you are invited to create ceramics and fellowship in the Children's Sunday School classroom.

Men

Men's Prayer Breakfast is held monthly at different churches at 7:30 a.m. on the second Sunday.  To find out this month's location, contact the Pastor at 361.972.3013.
