United Methodist Women meet the third Wednesday of each month (except June and July) at 10 a.m. in Weimar Hall. This group participates in local and regional ministry outreach projects and has a annual chicken spagetti luncheon you won't want to miss!
Women’s Upper Room Study meets every Thursday at 10:00 in Weimar Hall. This group uses the Upper Room devotional as their study guide. Pick up your free copy in large or small print in the church foyer.
Each Tuesday evening at 6 p.m., you are invited to create ceramics and fellowship in the Children's Sunday School classroom.
Sunday school starts each Sunday at 9 a.m.
The Young Children's class meet in the Nursery and use Play and Pray materials appropriate for ages 2-5. Care is available for infants below the age of 2 as well.
Youth meet in the room behind Weimar Hall and use video lessons designed for young people.
Adults meet in the Parlor and explore specific books of the Bible or topical studies.
Men's Prayer Breakfast is held monthly at different churches at 7:30 a.m. on the second Sunday. To find out this month's location, contact the Pastor at 361.972.3013.
Except June-August, the choir rehearses every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary. All joyful voices are welcome!
Bell Choir, the Seaside Ringers, are featured for holidays and special occasions. Ringing is fun and requires little musical knowledge. Watch the bulletin and newsletter for more info.
The mission team facilitates two special offerings. Each fifth Sunday, the congregation's children help collect the "noisy offering" for the Methodist Children's Home in Waco, Texas. Save your change and make a little "noise."
Each first Sunday of the month, you are invited to place an offering at the communion rail. These offerings help our church make donations to ministries local, regional and national. Featured offerings are The Heifer Project, King's Kamp, PUMC's Helping Hands Fund and others.
