Ministry Outreach
Through our Missions program, FUMC Palacios supports a variety of ministries, both local and globally. Through our communion Sunday rail offerings the church supports our FUMC Helping Hands Fund, UMCOR, and Heifer International to name a few.
Our Missions program also coordinates opportunities to support other opportunities for service to our community and neighbors. Some of the projects include

Pat Allen Christmas Dinner at the Friends of Elder Citizens Center

Christmas Shoe and Sock Tree to present as gifts to local school children

5th Sunday Noisy Change collections to support Waco Children’s Home

In coordination with Bethany UMC of Austin-Mission by the Sea work camp during the summer and fall.
Robert Duran Food Pantry
Non-perishable food donations may be made to the Robert Duran Food Pantry in a basket located in the Narthex of the church. Special announcements will be made in the church bulletin and newsletter when particular items are needed.
